Jessie Speer-s

I am a human geographer working at the intersection of urban studies and feminist political economy. I examine how property markets and ideologies of domesticity shape patterns of housing displacement and homelessness in the United States. My research and teaching interests include urban and cultural geography, American studies, feminist and postcolonial theory, and qualitative methodologies. I am currently working as an Honorary Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London and convening several modules on methodology at the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership.
